We have designed a winner's podium display built into a weather-tight case using ultra bright LED’s for external use. The main reason for the display is to show the winners details, i.e. names and times etc, but we also propose that the display be used for advertisements and possibly time to the off notices. The display is driven remotely via a windows based computer, running very user-friendly software, which make this a very versatile system.

The LED display can be set by software to display either 1 or 2 lines of text, as shown below, which can also be set to different modes:

• Bold
• Flashing
• Enlarged
  

• Appear
• Wipe
• Open
• Lock
• Rotate
• Roll in from the right
• Roll in from the left
• Roll up
• Roll down
• Ping-pong
• Auto mixing them all

This versatility is achieved through the Windows PC software.
