Purpose
The purpose of the Greyhound Meeting Overlay Program is to enable the production of
identified video footage for your race meetings as a live broadcast and onto DVD
or Video. Using an intuitive Windows interface, the operator can load in a
meeting’s data from the ‘Formbank’ Greyhound Database program, and produce
output to fully identify the races and runners in the meeting footage.
Flexible
By employing the supplied templates based on the HTML standard, the overlay screens can easily be
adjusted to personalise the output for a stadium or group of stadiums, or to distinguish between Open
and Home races, or Evening and BAGS meetings.
Dead-heat images can also be incorporated into the final video stream, as can any other web page.
Sponsor Advertising
In addition to the pages specified above, the operator can arrange for sponsor advertising and
web pages to appear at any time in the video stream. Animations and logos can easily be included
into the output by adjusting the templates for each page.

Method
The Windows PC and Camera are
attached to a Genlock Video adapter, which in turn is attached to either a DVD or Video recorder. As the video footage
is played, so the operator can mix in the
different pages to overlay that footage, with the resultant display
being broadcast and output to the recording device. If the PC has 2
screens attached then the program will automatically use the main screen
for the operator input and general program, with the second screen
displaying the currently selected overlay page.

Adjustments to the program capabilities can be accommodated...at an affordable price. We look to provide exactly what the customer wants rather than our own perhaps
limited view of customer expectations.
You may have a requirement for an owner information screen, or recent form lines, or more
detailed result information. Any information that exists in the Formbank database could be
